  I really enjoyed the meals I shared with my wife here for lunch. The pork was tender and moist and Partridge was great too. The mains were just under £20 each. They have three beers on tap. beer was fresh. The knife served with the meals was not really all that useful for working with the Partridge. The pork crackling was not 100%, as it was rubbery on one side. An additional piece of crackling was included with the meal; it was a little cold and tough to get through. Staff were helpful and worked for their 12.5% 'voluntary' service charge. They communicated well with the guests. The menu has a guilt statement on it which makes the service charge seem awkward. Olives that were served were too cold and a tad limited in number. It's a great restaurant with a nice friendly vibe to it.

  Overpriced and unfortunately a bit soulless. The roast was nice but was missing essentials like horseradish! Barely any gravy either so it was pretty dry. I kept tying to catch the staff's attention but they were too busy being 'funny' (sarcastic) to listen and repeatedly forgot what we'd asked for. We never did get the extra wine we'd ordered let alone some gravy! We won't be bothering again
