  We had an absolutely perfect Sunday lunch there today. The surroundings are beautiful and the food was delicious. Treditional pub food with a very modern, yummy twist and massive portions that appealed to the many different customers - families with young children, our family with older children and young and old couples. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. We were sitting in the garden and while we were waiting for our food, it started to rain. Everyone from the garden decamped into the pub and not only were the staff able to seat everyone, but they changed the table numbers and everyone's food arrived promptly. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, beautiful surroundings, perfect food. What more could you want? We'll definitely return.

  The in on the lake is a very very appalling restaurant the manager was horrible and he was so rude that he had managed to ruin the whole Christmas eve dinner so we are sitting here at 11:30 at night eating toast for our Christmas eve dinner and our closest friends had to go home we only meet up with them twice a year and they had to get McDonald's on the way back to there house.
  
  The meals where horrible and looked very UN appetizing to eat and you know what the toast was a lot nicer than the meal that they gave me and my sister.
  
  The in on the lake has just had a two million pound refurbishment and it does look nice in there but the manager is one of the rudest people that I have ever met don't waste your time or money on this place
